The Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County and its division, the Downtown Franklin Association produces and promotes four festivals annual in Historic Downtown Franklin. Proceeds from each event are used to fulfill the mission of the organization, which is to protect and preserve the architectural, geographic and cultural heritage of Franklin and Williamson County and to promote the ongoing economic revitalization of downtown Franklin in the context of historic preservation.

Main Street Festival, Saturday & Sunday, April 30 - May 1, 2011 (Click here for an application!)

Main Street Festival features more than 200 high quality artisans and crafters, three stages, two carnivals, two food courts and fun for the entire family. The free street festival, consistently listed among the top 20 events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society, draws more than 100,000 visitors to historic downtown Franklin. Main Street Festival is always held the last full weekend in April.

Vendors are selected through a jury process, and fully 50% of the booths are filled before Dec. 31. Apply early, as some categories fill especially early.  All work must be original in design and executed by the applicant.  

Pumpkinfest, October 30, 2010 (Click here for an application!)
Pumpkinfest attracts a crowd of 50,000 local and out-of-town visitors for a full day of autumn-inspired food, children’s activities, music, storytelling, hayrides and more! The free annual fall festival features over 50 artisans and crafters, specializing in heritage crafts, holiday items and specialty gift items. Pumpkinfest is always held the Saturday before Halloween.

Vendors are selected through a jury process, based on product quality, appropriateness for the show and display appearance. 

Dickens of a Christmas, December 11-12, 2010 (Click here for an application!)
Dickens of a Christmas is downtown Franklin’s annual Victorian Christmas celebration, complete with horse-drawn carriage rides, costumed carolers and Charles Dickens characters strolling the streets, living-window Victorian craftsmen, holiday food and an arts and crafts show around the historic town square. Estimated annual attendance is 50,000. Dickens of a Christmas is always held the second full weekend in December.

Vendors are selected through a jury process, based on product quality, appropriateness for the show and display appearance. Preference is given to Victorian themed items, attire and booth décor.
