The Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County (Tennessee) produces the following events:

Feile Franklin - Scot/Irish street festival and beer tasting. Held March 8, 2008, on Main Street in Historic Downtown Franklin. Date for 2009 TBA.

Main Street Festival - More than 200 arts/crafts vendors, two food courts,  four stages and two carnivals. Always held the last full weekend in April for the past 24 years. Free admission. Main Street from First to Fifth Avenues and Bicentennial Park.

Tour of Homes - Nine historic homes in an around historic downtown Franklin open to the public the first weekend in June, June 7-8, 2008. Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 on site.

Franklin Food & Spirits Festival - A free street festival May 31, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Franklin's Public Square. BBQ and spirits tastings offered for $25. Whole hog roasting party at Carnton the night before, May 30, for $150 per person.


Pumpkinfest - Always the Saturday before Halloween. Free street festival featuring trick-or-treating, arts/crafts vendors, Franklin Tomorrow Chili Cook-off, Sister Cities All Things Pumpkin, People's Church Kids Zone, costume contest and live music.

Heritage Ball - Williamson County's largest and longest-running black tie event.

Dickens of a Christmas - Victorian holiday street festival featuring more than 200 costumed characters re-enacting scenes from "A Christmas Carol" and other stories by Charles Dickens. Always the second full weekend in December.
